Ten turquoise finishes on full-size salmon hides: Turquoise & Gold, Turquoise (top covered), Turquoise & Turquoise film, Turquoise & White, Sky Blue (top covered), Turquoise & Grey, Turquoise – Black & Gold, Turquoise film, Glacier, and Lava & Glacier. "Top covered" hides have a protective top coat; "film" hides have a metallic foil pressed onto the scales. Glacier and Lava & Glacier are my own colourways, taken from Icelandic ice and rock.
- Size: 11 cm or more across near the head, 60 cm or more long (4.3 × 24 in)
- One hide per order; every hide differs a little in size and pattern
Turquoise is popular for jewellery, clutch panels and anything meant to stand out.
Tanned in Iceland by Nordic Fish Leather from salmon skins left over by the food industry, using geothermal and hydro energy. It does not smell of fish. Read more in What is fish leather?
