The warm side of the colour range: Red/Silver, Red/Red, Pink, Violet (Light), Violet/Gold, Blue/Red, Thulian, Copper/Magenta, Grey/Red, and Glacier & Lava. Red/Red is a deep single colour; the others pair a base colour with a metallic or contrasting layer on the scales. Tanned by Nordic Fish Leather and top-finished in my studio.
- Size: 11 cm or more across near the head, 60 cm or more long (4.3 × 24 in)
- One hide per order; every hide differs a little in size and pattern
One hide gives many pairs of earrings, pendants or ring inlays, so it goes a long way in jewellery making.
Tanned in Iceland by Nordic Fish Leather from salmon skins left over by the food industry, using geothermal and hydro energy. It does not smell of fish. Read more in What is fish leather?
